Short version - Extender was installed and works great. Long version - I used the extender to run a 100' Tripplite DVI cable to a projector in an auditorium, not being a wiring person I rigged it backwards || PC > extender > long cable to the projector || It did not work because it was suppose to rigged || pc > long cable > extender > small cable

Use this to extend my video connection of 30 ft from my PC to the monitor. It works great on my video card with DVI-I dual link output as I can run dual view (digital & analog). Only noticed that the unit is warm, so consider a ventilated place where you will put the unit.

We bought a 50 foot cable to go from the computer to the ceiling projector, but the picture was bad. By adding the Tripp Lite to the cable just before the projector, it corrected the problem.
