It doesn't work. Period. Apparently, Apple's software recognizes when you plug the Apple adapter and adds an option to the display preferences pane to switch the video display to interlaced. The Dynex doesn't trigger that option so the composite option doesn't work. I also tried it with a s-video cable and that displayed but not properly. Waste of

Does not work even with resolution adjustment software, s-video or av cable makes no difference, just get lines across the screen. Going by other reviews the product is obviously flawed and a waste of money, a consumer rip off. - Dynex - useless!!!!

This is a faulty product and has been known to be one for a while. This product does not, and has never worked. Dynex is a 'Best Buy' exclusive brand that has a long running history of faulty products. Never buy an adapter from Dynex, unless it's a simple cable or 1/8 inch stereo cable splitter, for example.
