I have not used this product. It was recommended by my "so called" technical expert as a way to connect a 19" Apple Cinema Display to a 15" MacBook Pro. This cable will not work to do that. The ACD has a 30 pin male connection. The MacBook Pro has a 24 pin female connection. Nothing against this product I have not tried it. This is just a warning
